The Hilversum Town Hall, built in the years 1928-1931, is considered to be the magnum opus of architect Willem Marinus Dudok (1884-1974). It is a so-called Gesamtkunstwerk (similar to the Hunting Lodge Saint Hubertus) - Dudok also designed the interior, the furniture, the gardens, and even the font used for the signs in the building, and they are all part of the whole creation.
The photo above was made last week, but I made the photos below in August 2024, when I joined a guided tour of the Town Hall.
