A Golden Orb Weaver. This one sits in the middle of its web in broad daylight. Its cousin the Garden Orb weaver is also fat and juicy, but looks less attractive and every morning it dismantles its web and hides during the day, to come out again only when it's dark to build a new web. Now, if it were as poisonous to birds as its golden relative, it wouldn't need to make all that extra effort...
