Our second son turned six today and had a Halloween party. I couldn't choose one photo so here are five ;-).

There was no photo yesterday because on Sunday night lightning struck here and blew up our modem, router, television, alarm clock and a couple of lamps!
Today we have a new modem and a new router (and some surge protectors), so blogging resumes. Here is a photo I made during the thunderstorm - playing with the shutterspeed on my DSLR.
The neighbours (who also had a lot of damage), Queenslanders born and bred, said it was the biggest storm they had ever seen. And it is not even summer yet!

We are back from a lovely holiday in Noosa. I have made about 500 photos with my new camera and another 150 or so with the old point-and-shoot. In the next week you can expect pics from Noosa on this blog (There may be another kookaburra among them - I have made 89 kookaburra photos!). This one was made with a tripod and the 55-200 mm zoom lens.
